It was a great weekend of results for the trotting stallion Muscle Mass in North America with his progeny taking out a $225,000 Ontario Sire Stakes (ONSS) Gold Super Final at Mohawk Racetrack as well a $225,000 New York Sire Stakes Final at Yonkers Raceway.

The Luc Blais trained three-year-old filly On A Sunny Day (pictured) made light work of the ONSS Gold Super Final, running out the winner by four and a half lengths in a time of 1:55.4 and in the process making up for the previous year's Final in which she was the red hot favourite but lost all chance when galloping early on.

On A Sunny Day is the winner of 10 races and $546,536 in stakes-money.

On the same evening at Yonkers Raceway Muscle Mass sired the first four runners home in the two-year-old colts NYSS Final with the Ake Svanstedt trained Six Pack leading from start to finish to score by one and a half lengths from Clive Bigsby and The Veteran.

The win was Six Pack's fourth career victory, taking his earnings to $198,642.

Muscle Mass also sired the runner-up Fury Road in the 2-year-old Fillies Final.

The stallion is enjoying a great season and is currently the third leading North American sire of 2-year-old trotters behind only Cantab Hall and Muscle Hill.
