Son of Always B Miki remains perfect

The exciting Always B Miki 3-year-old Always Hot further enhanced his growing reputation when he made it six wins from six starts with an effortless victory in the Group 3 Simpson Memorial (1,609m) at Menangle on Saturday night.

The Emma Stewart trained youngster was unextended in winning despite racing three wide without cover for the first 800m.

Comfortably in front by the mid-way point, Always Hot strode clear in the straight to score by 11m from last season’s Breeders Crown Final winner Mac Bon.

A Group 1 winner of the Vicbred Super Series Final last year, Always Hot’s six wins have now netted him $140,750 in stakes earnings.

Bred by Peter Gleeson, he is the best performed foal to date out of the stakes winning Mach Three mare Our Celebrity.
