Six Pack sets world record in Allerage Trot
Muscle Mass stallion Six Pack repeated his world record setting performance of twelve months ago with another sublimely quick mile at The Red Mile in Kentucky, this time in the $145,000 Allerage Farms Open Trot on October 5 (US time).
The winner of the Kentucky Futurity, 12 months previously, in 1:49.2 – the fastest time ever recorded by a three-year-old trotter, Six Pack added the record for the fastest 4-year-old trotting stallion of all time to his resume with a devastating 1:49.4 victory by open lengths over a quality field that had collectively won over $8,000,000 in stakes. Watch replay.
His time lowered the previous record, jointly held by Chapter Seven, Eurobond and Southwind Chrome, by four fifths of a second.
The 2018 Dan Patch 3YO Trotting Colt of Year is the winner of 18 races and $1,659,305 in stakes money.
Bred by Brittany Farms, Six Pack is out of a Cantab Hall half-sister to the now down-under domiciled stallion Great Success.
