Plunge Blue Chip continues her winning ways

The world champion Muscle Mass filly Plunge Blue Chip continued her fantastic year over the weekend, taking out a $90,000 New York Sire Stakes division for 3YO Trotting Fillies at Saratoga.

Despite starting from the widest draw, the $90,000 feature was little more than a training run for the brilliant Ake Svanstedt trained filly, with the multiple world record holder setting very tame fractions up front before gapping her rivals in the closing stages to score by an ever increasing seven and half lengths .

Plunge Blue Chip has now won 14 of her 20 lifetime starts (with placings in another five) and over $777,000 in stakes money.

Bred by Blue Chip Bloodstock Inc, Plunge Blue Chip is out of the unraced Donato Hanover mare Dunk  The Donato and is from the maternal family of the two-time Maple Leaf Trot winner and $4,000,000 earner Mr Muscleman.
