Father Patrick the leading sire on day one of Harrisburg Sale
Boom young trotting stallion Father Patrick enjoyed a stellar opening session at the Harrisburg Standardbed Horse Sale in Pennsylvania, USA today, finishing day one as the leading stallion by average price.
His 11 lots sold for a phenomenal average of $186,818, with eight fetching over $100,000 and six of these bringing $200,000 or more.
Father Patrick’s top lot was a superb colt out of Global Desire, a Yankee Glide full sister to the Trotting Triple Crown winner and US Horse of the Year Glidemaster, whom sold for $470,000 to successful New York racehorse owner Jeff Snyder.
The colt is a full brother to the current year 2YO Bluegrass Stakes winner Gangster Hanover.
A filly out of the Yankee Glide mare Queen Of Grace also brought big money, selling for $360,000. The filly is a full sister to the world champion and millionaire filly Lifetime Pursuit.
