Always B Miki has his first qualifying winner
9 June 2020
Always B Miki was represented by his first qualifying race winner at Gaitway Farm, New Jersey today, with the 2-year-old filly Always B Laughin taking out her heat.
The Julie Miller trained filly sat on the leader’s back throughout before pulling out in the straight and getting the better of the pacemaker on the line to score by a neck in a time of 1:58 for the mile. (Watch the final stages here.)
A $15,000 Harrisburg purchase, Always B Laughin is out of the un-raced Dragon Again mare Gravity, a half or full sister to four $750,000 plus earners including the former Metro Pace runner-up Moon Beam.
