A Rocknroll Dance colt remains unbeaten with PASS victory

The Brian Brown trained A Rocknroll Dance colt Proof was an impressive winner of his Pennsylvania Sire Stakes division for 2-year-old pacing colts and geldings at The Downs At Mohegan Sun Pocono on July 14.

A short priced favourite, Proof had to do a power of work in his division, with the colt coming first over into the wind at the half to challenge the pace-making Volley Ball Beach for the lead, and then after besting that colt in the straight, had to hold off the fast finishing Bring The Thunder to win by a half length.

Proof's winning time of 1:52.4 was the second fastest of the year for a 2-year-old pacer on a five-eighths of a mile track.

The colt remains unbeaten after four public appearances, with two stakes race wins and two qualifying wins under his belt.

Bred and raced by Diamond Creek Farm, Proof is the second foal of the $1.9 million dollar earning Real Artist mare Ginger And Fred.
