A Rocknroll Dance colt cruises in Breeders Crown Elimination
Metro Pace champion Lost In Time was a comfortable winner of the first of the US Breeders Crown Eliminations for 2-Year-Old Pacing Colts and Geldings at Hoosier Park on October 21 (US time).
A little slow off the gate, the strapping A Rocknroll Dance colt soon muscled his way to the lead by the end of the opening quarter. Once in front regular pilot Scott Zeron steadied the pace through the middle stages before sprinting home in 26.8 to score by a length and a quarter from Bluegrass Stakes winner This Is The Plan in a time of 1:52.8. The Jim Mulinix trained youngster is now the winner of four of his six starts to date and is currently the richest juvenile pacer in North American with earnings of US$385,555.
A $47,000 Lexington Select purchase, Lost In Time was bred by Diamond Creek Farm, whom stand his sire A Rocknroll Dance, and is out of the stakes placed Artiscape mare Summer Mystery.
